Introduction
The easiest way to create new bulk price rules or edit existing ones en masse is via the Bulk Price Wizard. You can find it on the homepage of the appero quote Setup app on the right directly below the quote Template Wizard:
If the Bulk Price Wizard is not yet visible on your start page, please display the custom component "bulkPrizeWizardStartCard" on your Lightning page.
By starting the wizard, you can create bulk prices for a product or product groups en masse in just two steps.
Selection of Products or Product Groups
In the first step, select the product or the product group or product group combination to which the bulk rules should apply:

You have the following options in detail:

In the top button, select whether the following rules should apply to a product or the product group(s). | |
Look-up field to the product in Salesforce. | |
As an alternative to a product, you can select a product group via the lookup field. | |
Look-up field to the secondary product group. Primary and secondary product groups can be used either individually or in combination. | |

The "Next" button confirms your selection and opens the second window. |
Configuration of the new bulk price rules
Existing rules for the selected product or product group combination are loaded in the second window. If no rule exists yet, start entering your new rules directly.
Existing rules can be adapted or left unchanged. Enter new rules line by line. A new line opens automatically after the last entry.
You have the following options in detail:

Use the top button to specify whether the bulk rules should be applied as a discount or as a surcharge. | |
You can define the discount or surcharge as a percentage or as an amount. If you select "Amount", this will always be applied to the unit price, e.g. if you would like to sell 10 copies of a product for a total of €300 instead of €330, please enter €3 in the Discount field: The unit price is reduced from 33€ to 30€. It is not possible to create mixed rules for a product/product group via the wizard. If a mixed selection is found, e.g. percentage and amount rules for a product, you will receive a corresponding message. | |
The name of the rule is displayed in the left-hand column. For new rules to be created, it is made up of: [Name of Product or Product Group] > [Quantity entered - 1] If you want to assign other names to your rules, you can easily customize them via a list view after exiting the wizard. | |
In the second column, enter the minimum quantity from which the rule should apply, e.g. from quantity 10 there is a 30% discount. | |
In the right-hand column, enter the calculation value, i.e. a percentage or amount discount or surcharge, depending on the setting you have selected above. | |
You can remove a rule from the list using the recycle bin icon. | |
You can use the plus sign to create several new rows in the block instead of proceeding row by row. | |
You can switch back and forth between the two windows using the progress bar or the back button. However, any unsaved data will be lost! |
After completing the wizard, you will receive a success message about the number of newly created or adjusted scale price rules. You can now view these in the "Product properties" object, " Bulk prices" list view and edit them further if necessary.
