Introduction

At the heart of the AdSales process in MediaVelox is the so-called publication. Publication is much more than just a magazine.

The term "publication" in MediaVelox covers a wide range of channels: In addition to the classic print medium and the website with online advertising spaces, the marketing of radio and TV advertising and even events or window displays can be depicted.

A publication in MediaVelox is any medium through which a certain inventory of advertising space is marketed in relation to a defined period of time.

Periods can be distinguished as booking according to time, e.g. the fixed publication date of a magazine issue, or according to duration, e.g. booking an online or window display advertising space for a specific period.

Optional. Publications can be structured using the "Category" checkbox.

Example: All publications with medical reference are assigned to the publication "Medicine". Publication medicine is marked as category. Digital and print publications can be assigned to this category.

The label "digital product" is, strictly speaking, misleading. It is only about the distinction between runtime or time-based booking, see also issues.
