Release Notes - appero quote 22.201

This maintenance release does not contain any new features, but serves to optimize and guarantee the current range of functions.

Quoting process

Flexible synchronization of the quote with the opportunity

The "Copy products to opportunity" button copies the products added in the quote to the opportunity. This step is also integrated, for example, in the "Order entry" or "Send via Email" function.

Changes in appero quote 22.201: Using the new checkbox on the quote record "Copy products to opportunity" sf42_quotefx__SF42_CopyProductsToOpportunity__c, you can also trigger the opportunity synchronization independently, e.g. by activating the checkbox via flows or approval processes.
If the checkbox is activated, the products from the quote are copied to the opportunity and the associated quote is marked as the primary quote. Also, the opportunity will be updated with the additional accounts from the quote, if applicable.
Subsequently, the sf42_quotefx__SF42_CopyProductsToOpportunity__c field will be automatically reset to "false".

Action required: Please note that you should only tick the checkbox outside of the quote editor to get a correct result.

Quote calculation

Bulk pricing in combination with MediaVelox

appero quote offers you the possibility to display bulk prices, i.e. to design product prices depending on the quantities offered. In MediaVelox, the quantity of a product is determined by the reservation entry in the product property.

Changes in appero quote 22.201: It is now also possible to manually overwrite the discount determined by a bulk price rule for product properties from MediaVelox.

Only when the entry in the reservation property changes, the bulk price rule is triggered again and the manual discount is overwritten.

Action required: none.

Quote document

VAT with 0% in the quote document

In appero quote you can show the VAT in your quote both as a percentage value at the individual quote item or as shown amounts in the VAT or gross total elements.

Changes in appero quote 22.201: If the VAT rate is 0%, this amount is also shown in the VAT element and thus in the quote PDF.

Action required: none.

Other fixes and optimizations

Products with incompletely configured AddOn products are now included in the product search again. Changes in the dynamic header or footer of a quote template are immediately displayed in the PDF.
