Interaction of Product Elements and Data Extensions

Content Blocks that contain Product Elements pull their data from Data Extensions that were specially created for those Content Blocks.

Columns can be read out by using placeholders in the assigned Content Block. Therefore another Data Extensions to map the comlumns with placeholders is needed.

This table shows the mapping to the variables in the content blocks for all data extensions that contain product data.

 

It is important to identify one column for each data extension as a Primary Key. This field value is stored as an article ID in SendHero42 and is used to uniquely identify a product.
