SFMC - Content Builder
Introduction
All content that you use in SendHero42 can initially be found in the Marketing Cloud. The dispatch is also carried out via the Marketing Cloud. It is therefore important to know the basic areas and settings here in order to be able to make adjustments if necessary.

After setting up SendHero42, you will find your own "SendHero42" folder with various sub-folders in the Content Builder:

Please do not change or delete anything in the given folder structure on your own. This is important for the interaction between Marketing Cloud and SendHero42.
Folder Images SendHero42
Each template in SendHero42 is necessarily linked to an image folder in the Marketing Cloud. If you want to use a different folder than ImagesSendHero42
, simply add its folder ID in the template properties in SendHero42.
How can I find the Folder ID?
mark the check box Show Folder
s to display the current folders with details. You can select ID by using the gear wheel on the top right side to display the ID of the picture folder. The displayed ID is saved in the template properties in SendHero42.

Folder Template
The template subfolder contains both - the content blocks that make up your template in SendHero42 and the templates for SendHero42.
The Name must contain the String ”Template” to be classify as a Template.

A content block that is to be used as a template in SendHero42 consists on:
variables, here e.g.
%% content %%
as a placeholder for the later contentstylesheet (CSS) that defines the layout of the newsletter.
Content Blocks
Regular Content Blocks consist of a HTML-file and contain variables that will be available in SendHero42. The variables make sure that the block type can be identified correctly.

Folder Test Dispatch
The folder Test Dispatch
contains the sub folders Email
and Content.
Subfolder Email
A test email differs from the final version. It contains:
a button for approval
a button for editing
recipients
These conditions are contained in the preview emails

Emails are created in german and in english.
You can explore a preview of your Email by using the detail view. An Automated preview header and pre-header and the respective newsletter content are displayed (%%=ContentBlockById(@cbId)=%%
). Besides that you have the option to edit or send the mail.
Subfolder Content
The Newsletter will be saved as one single Content Block with the Type HTML after a Test Dispatch in SendHero42 is confirmed. It will be saved here: Test Dispatch > Content.

This Content Block refers to the variable %%=ContentBlockById(@cbId)=%%
(see section above).
Folder Live Dispatch
The Folder Live Dispatch
contains two subfolders: Email
and Content.
The Folder Content
is not needed at this point because it will be content will be sent automatically.
Subfolder Email
The subfolder Email
contains the entire Newsletter as a HTML in the final form as it is sent to the customer.
