Internal product comments
The product description in appero quote is addressed to the quote recipient, so it is also displayed in the quote PDF. For internal information, you previously had the option to go via hidden text areas or custom columns.
Changes in version 22.102: For extensive information that simplifies the sales process but should not be communicated externally, you now have the option to show an additional comment via the badge on the right edge of the editor.
Action required: If required, store the comment text in the sf42_quotefx__SF42_Comment__c field directly on the respective product record.

Price book check in the quote editor
In the quoting process, only those products and prices are available for selection that are contained in the price book stored in the opportunity. Only products with an active price book entry are loaded in the appero quote editor.
Changes in version 22.102: Also active price book entries in inactive price books cannot be loaded in the editor.

Server product search
For very large price books, we recommend the server product search. It skips the initial loading of the active price book entries when opening the quote editor and queries the products directly from the server as needed. Helpful list views and the possibility of multiple product selection are further advantages of the Server Product Search.
Changes in version 22.102: Even with multiple selections using the text search, all selected products are reliably transferred to the quote.

Quote calculation
Rounding behavior
appero quote calculates very accurately with up to 15 decimal places, both for discounts and for final prices and totals. In certain cases, this can lead to deviations in the cent range from the opportunity amount. One way to work around this is to calculate the opportunity product with all decimal places as well (Settings > Calculation > "Opportunity Product Sync: Do not Scale Product's UnitPrice").
Changes in version 22.102: Alternatively, you can also calculate with rounded currency columns in the editor. I.e. no matter how many decimal places a discount or quantity field has, the resulting final or total price will always be rounded to 2 decimal places.
Action required: If necessary, activate the setting "Use rounded values to calculate product values" (parameter name useRoundedValueForProductCalculation) in the Calculation section.

Other fixes and optimizations
Competing tax rules on product and product groups are read correctly. Correct navigation through the Lightning Sales Console with appero quote is guaranteed again. So is the navigation through a product detail dialog with many product properties, as well as the display of the product selection in the Firefox browser. The button for cloning the quote template can now also be included separately in the Quote Lightning Page.
