After you have selected the appropriate template or an existing quote as a template, the quote lightning editor opens. Here you always have all relevant tools and information in view. They are located on the one hand in the blue header and on the other hand in two vertical toolbars:


Header

In the header the name of the opportunity belonging to the quote, quote number and the stored opportunity contact are shown. You can also edit the quote date and the quote validity:

BackThis function appears with mouse-over effect at opportunity and quote name. It saves the quote and goes back to the preview page of the quote record

OptionsHere you can maintain the basic data on quote name, date and validity.

Exit

The "Exit" function offers these following options:

  • Cancel - switch back to the quote editor 
  • Beenden ohne Speichern - die Ansicht wechselt in die Opportunity
  • Speichern und Beenden - die Ansicht wechselt zur Vorschauseite des Angebots

Äußere vertikale Toolbar

In der äußeren vertikalen Toolbar finden Sie die Grundfunktionen zur weiteren Verarbeitung des fertigen Angebots, wie Speichern, Versenden
  • Exit without saving - the view changes to the opportunity
  • Save and exit - the view changes to the preview page of the quote




External vertical toolbar

In the external vertical toolbar you will find the basic functions for further processing of the finished quote, such as saving, sending, etc.

Versenden

Wechselt zum Email-Versand des Angebots. Zuvor werden folgende Optionen abgefragt:

  • Zusätzliche Empfänger für das Angebot festlegen → zur Auswahl stehen die
    Kontakte der zugehörigen Opportunity mit Email-Adresse
  • Produkte in die Opportunity kopieren → schreibt die Angebotspositionen in die Opportunity-Produkte

Hinweis: Diese Funktion steht erst beim Bearbeiten eines bereits vorhandenen Angebots zur Verfügung, sofern kein Genehmigungsprozess offen ist.

  • Note: This function is only available when editing an existing quote, unless an approval process is open.

In appero quote Lightning unterscheidet die Funktion "Produkte aus Opportunity übernehmen" bislang noch nicht zwischen "Hinzufügen" und "Ersetzen" vorhandener Opportunity Produkte. Sie werden dem bestehenden Angebot immer hinzugefügt. Das bedeutet, dass Summenrabatte, die sich als Angebotselement bereits in der Vorlage befinden, mit dem Sync zusätzliche geladen werden und somit doppelt erscheinen. Bitte passen Sie Ihr Angebotsdokument ggf. nach der Produktübernahme entsprechend an (Stand Winter 20).

BricksZeigt die Liste der verfügbaren Bausteine an, sog. Bricks.Bricks sind Kompositionen aus Angebotselementen z.B. können sie aus Text- und Bildelementen oder Produkten und Summenelementen zusammengesetzt sein. Sie lassen sich wie die anderen Angebotselemente ins Angebot einfügen und platzieren.

Alle Auswahllisten können mit Volltextsuche durchsucht werden.

Fußzeile

In der Fußzeile haben Sie jederzeit die Gesamtkalkulation im Blick:

Dies ist insbesondere bei langen, mehrseitigen Angeboten eine wichtige Orientierungshilfe

, the "Transfer products from opportunity" function does not yet differentiate between "Add" and "Replace" existing opportunity products. They are always added to the existing quote. This means that summary discounts that are already in the template as a quote element are loaded additionally with the sync and therefore appear twice. If necessary, please adjust your quote document accordingly after product acceptance (status Winter 20).



Inner vertical toolbar

The inner vertical toolbar provides access to all the elements you can add to the quote:

Opens the selection of quote elements.
Different content, layout and calculation elements can be selected.

BricksShows the list of available building blocks, so called bricks.

Bricks are compositions of quote elements e.g. they can be composed of text and picture elements or products and sum elements. They can be inserted and placed in the quote just like the other quote elements.

All selection lists can be searched with full text search.



In the footer you have the total calculation in view at all times:
