Nachdem Sie das passende Template oder ein bestehendes Angebot als Vorlage ausgewählt haben, öffnet sich der quote lightning Editor. Hier haben Sie immer alle relevanten Werkzeuge und Informationen im Blick. Sie befinden sich zum einen in der blauen Kopfzeile und in zwei vertikalen Toolbars:

Kopfzeile

In der Kopfzeile werden der Name der zum Angebot gehörenden Opportunity, Angebotsnummer und der hinterlegte Opportunity-Kontakt eingeblendet. Außerdem können Sie das Angebotsdatum und die Angebotsgültigkeit bearbeiten:

Die Funktion "Beenden" bietet folgende Möglichkeiten:

• Abbrechen - Wechsel zurück in den Angebotseditor 
• Beenden ohne Speichern - die Ansicht wechselt in die Opportunity
• Speichern und Beenden - die Ansicht wechselt zur Vorschauseite des Angebots

Äußere vertikale Toolbar

Wechselt zum Email-Versand des Angebots. Zuvor werden folgende Optionen abgefragt:

• Zusätzliche Empfänger für das Angebot festlegen → zur Auswahl stehen die
  Kontakte der zugehörigen Opportunity mit Email-Adresse
• Produkte in die Opportunity kopieren → schreibt die Angebotspositionen in die Opportunity-Produkte

Hinweis: Diese Funktion steht erst beim Bearbeiten eines bereits vorhandenen Angebots zur Verfügung, sofern kein Genehmigungsprozess offen ist.

Hinweis: Diese Funktion steht erst beim Bearbeiten eines bereits vorhandenen Angebots zur Verfügung, sofern kein Genehmigungsprozess offen ist.

Übernimmt vorhandene Opportunity-Produkte in das aktuelle Angebot.

Hinweis: Sofern keine Produkte an der Opportunity gespeichert sind, zeigt die Funktion den Hinweis an "Es sind keine Produkte vorhanden, die in dieses Angebot kopiert werden können."

Innere vertikale Toolbar

Die innere vertikale Toolbar bietet Zugriff auf alle Elemente, die Sie dem Angebot hinzufügen können:

Öffnet die Auswahl der Angebotselemente.
Verschiedene Inhalts-, Layout- und Kalkulationselemente können ausgewählt werden.

Alle Auswahllisten können mit Volltextsuche durchsucht werden.

Fußzeile

In der Fußzeile haben Sie jederzeit die Gesamtkalkulation im Blick:

Dies ist insbesondere bei langen, mehrseitigen Angeboten eine wichtige OrientierungshilfeAfter you have selected the appropriate template or an existing quote as a template, the quote lightning editor opens. Here you have all relevant tools and information in view. They are located in the blue header at the top of the editor and in two vertical toolbars on the left side:

Header

In the header the name of the opportunity belonging to the quote, quote number and the stored opportunity contact are shown. You can also edit the quote date and the quote valid date:

The additional functions are:

Image Added	appero-Logo	Reference to the Quote version used
Image Added	Back	This function appears with mouse-over effect at opportunity and quote name. It saves the quote and goes back to the preview page of the quote record
Image Added	Options	Here you can maintain the base data on quote name, date and validity.
Image Added	Quit	The "Quit" function offers these following options: Cancel - switch back to the quote editor  Quit - Saves the quote and closes the editor - the view changes to the preview page of the quote

Base data

In the Base Data area, the quote name, date and validity can be edited. When sending quotes via appero quote, it should be noted that a quote can only be sent to contacts that also match the account of the quote.

Therefore, the entry in the contact field is checked to see if it matches the stored account and, if necessary, a message is displayed: “This contact does not match the selected account.”

Saving the contact is still possible. For more complex processes involving different accounts and contacts, we recommend the Multi-level Sales option.

External vertical toolbar

In the external vertical toolbar you will find the basic functions for further processing of the finished quote, such as saving, sending, etc.

Icon	Function	Explanation
Image Added	Save	Allows you to save a quote temporarily without leaving the editor.
Image Added	PDF-Preview	Saves the quote and switches to the PDF-Preview. After closing the PDF you can continue working in the editor.
Image Added	Send	Switches to emailing the quote. The following options are requested beforehand: Set additional recipients for the quote → The available options are Contacts of the associated opportunity with email address Copy products to the opportunity → Writes the quote items in the opportunity products Note: This function is only available if no approval process is required.
Image Added	Copy products to opportunity	Writes the quote items into the opportunity products Note: This function is only available if no approval process is required.
Image Added	Copy products from opportunity	Transfers existing opportunity products to the current quote. Note: Unless there are no products stored at the opportunity, the function will display the message "There are no Products to copy for this quote."

Inner vertical toolbar

The inner vertical toolbar provides access to all the elements you can add to the quote:

Image Added	Products	Opens the product search menu and shows the list of available products.
Image Added	Quote Items	Opens the selection of quote items. Different content, layout and calculation items can be selected.
Image Added	Bricks	Shows the list of available building blocks, so called bricks. Bricks are compositions of quote items e.g. they can be composed of text and picture items or products and sum items. They can be inserted and placed in the quote just like any other quote elements.

All selection lists can be searched with full text search.

Footer

In the footer you have the total calculation in view at all times:

This is an important guide, especially for long, multi-page quotes.
