Introduction

With the acceptance of a quote, you can send an order confirmation to your customers.
First, the quote is accepted, preferably on the quote record itself via the "Order Entry" button:

When the order is received, the products are copied to the opportunity and the quote is marked as primary (checkbox "current quote" sf42_quotefx__SF42_QuoIsPrimary__c).

But even if you only set the opportunity to "Closed Won", you can generate an order confirmation afterwards, provided you have saved your products to the opportunity.

Create new order confirmation

You can find the action "Create new order confirmationNew Order Confirmation" at your opportunity. If the button is not visible, please add it to your page layout:

In the individual sections you can make the following settings

Image RemovedImage Added	As an alternative to taking the quote positions from the primary quote, the opportunity products can also be used as the basis of an order confirmation.	Note Provided that you take the products from the quote, you can be sure that the calculation is unchanged. When taking over the opportunity products, the products will be recalculated, provided that the setting Settings > Calculation checkbox "Recalculate opportunity products when taking over into before syncing them to quote" is activated. Image Added	Click on "Next" to open the quote editor.	The previously gray button turns blue when the desired template is selected and can be accessed.
Image RemovedImage Added	The "Cancel" button will take you back to the opportunity.	No order confirmation will be saved in this case.

Editing the order confirmation

In the admin area of appero quote you can define which quote positions exactly may be taken over and whether they may be edited, for details see. English - Admin Einstellungen - Auftragsbestätigung Order Confirmation

In the editor itself, depending on your admin settings, you have the same options as in a normal quote. You can sync the products in your order confirmation - should you have edited them again - back into the opportunity and send them by email from the editor.
