Introduction
You can use "merge fields" to dynamically read field values from Salesforce into quotes. This means that you can not only map information very quickly in the quote, but you can also be sure that it is up-to-date.

We recommend including the required mergefields right in the quote template. In this way, the effort required to create the individual quotes is significantly reduced. If you want to use variables also in the quote process, please activate the "Variables sidebar Mergefield-Sidebar available" setting in the English - Admin Einstellungen - Funktionalität Functionality |
If you need additional variables in the quote process, you can add them via the Mergefields sidebar with just a few clicks.
The mergefields sidebar in the quote editor
You can access the sidebar in the editor whenever you are in the inline editing mode of one of the following quote items:
Address range
Text element
Product description
Header and Footer
To do this, click once in the quote item and then click the pencil icon:
