Edit quote positions

Even after the initial insertion of a quote position, it can still be edited. To do this, click once in the quote position area. A small toolbar with three options opens on the right:




Product Detail Dialog

The gear wheel takes you to the same product detail dialog as when inserting the product.

Gear wheel:
Opens the initial dialog to product details and properties.

Edit quote columns

Using the pencil icon you can edit the quote columns directly in the row.

Pencil icon:
Enables easy editing of the quote columns and product description directly in the editor.



As long as the product configuration allows it, the columns can be edited directly in the line.

Field with gray background: The column content cannot be edited.If necessary, this setting can be adjusted in the product dataset record or based on the product properties.

Field with white background: The column content can be overwritten.If the changes cause recalculations, e.g. a scale price linked to the quantity, these are executed automatically.

Saves the changes and closes the edit mode.

Changes at this point are saved immediately, the blue check mark is only for better orientation.

You can also close the inline editing mode by simply continuing work elsewhere in the document, pressing Enter, or by clicking the white space to the right of the actual document.


Move quote position

You have the possibility to move a quote position in the document. To do this, click on the two arrows highlighted in gray.

Only one quote position can be moved at a time. 



The selected element can be placed anywhere in the quote document. To do this, move the two blue lines in the document using the mouse.

If you move the mouse over the plus sign, the line turns green and the element can be placed at this position by clicking on it.

If you want to cancel the move operation, just click the escape key or in the right white area of the editor outside the columns
