Die Produktsuche über die innere vertikale Toolbar am linken Bildschirmrand erlaubt eine schnelle Suche sowie ein direktes Einfügen des gewählten Produkts:

Nach Produktgruppe filtern

Das oberste Suchfenster bietet eine Filtermöglichkeit der vorhandenen Produkte nach Produktgruppen. Die Liste der vorhandenen Produktgruppen ist scrollbar und kann mit Volltextsuche durchsucht werden.

Hinweis: An dieser Stelle können nur die global in Salesforce angelegten Produktgruppen selektiert werden, zu denen auch Produkte im aktuellen Preisbuch enthalten sind, nicht die eigens im Angebot konfigurierten. Näheres dazu unter "Produktgruppen".

Note

Sofern keine Produktgruppen als Produktfilter zur Verfügung stehen, wird die Produktfamilie zur Filterung herangezogen.

Produkt suchenDas untere Suchfenster ermöglicht die Volltextsuche nach Produktnamen, sowie Produktcode und der Mengeneinheit, sofern diese Felder einen Wert aufweisen.

Produkt hinzufügenDas blaue Pluszeichen erscheint neben einem markierten Produkt. Durch Mausklick oder Enter-Funktion wird es dem Angebotsdokument hinzugefügt und der Detail-Dialog des Produkts öffnet sich.

In appero quote Lightning ist die Produktfamilie aus dem Salesforce Standard nur ein Fallback für den Produktgruppen-Filter. D.h. wenn Produktgruppen vorhanden sind und als Filter eingesetzt werden dürfen, sind im Angebotseditor nur Produktgruppen als Filter verfügbar. Erst wenn keine Produktgruppen, aber Produktfamilien vorhanden sind, dann wird die Produktfamilie als Filter genutzt.

Produktdialog

Der Dialog beim Einfügen eines Produktes gliedert sich in drei Bereiche

  • Produkteigenschaften
    • Zusatzprodukte

    Details

    Im Reiter Details werden kalkulatorische und inhaltliche Angaben zum Produkt abgefragt.

    Bereich Kalkulation

    Im Bereich Kalkulation werden die zur Kalkulation verfügbaren Spalten - z.B. Menge, Listenpreis, Laufzeit, Rabatt - eingeblendet und können für das Angebot angepasst werden.
    Die Farbgebung der Felder veranschaulicht zwei Bearbeitungsoptionen:

    Produktbeschreibung

    An dieser Stelle kann eine erweiterte Produktbeschreibung eingegeben werden, mit der Einschränkung, dass diese dann nur für das jeweilige Angebot gelten.

    Näheres zum Rich-Text Editor unter "quote lightning - Textformatierung".

    Es ist empfehlenswert, die Beschreibung von Produkten gleich bei der Erstellung der Datensätze in Salesforce zu hinterlegen. Rufen Sie hierfür den Reiter „Produkte“ auf und wählen Sie ein bestehendes Produkt aus oder legen Sie ein neues an. Im Produktdatensatz können Sie die Produktbeschreibung im gleichnamigen Feld eingeben.

    Produkteigenschaften

    Der Reiter "Produkteigenschaften" wird eingeblendet, sofern dem Produkt weitere Eigenschaften zugewiesen sind, die es zu spezifizieren gilt. Produkteigenschaften können den Gesamtpreis beeinflussen, z.B. ein Installationsaufschlag von 20% des Listenpreises, oder rein informative Funktion haben, z.B. die Abfrage des Installationsdatums.

    Zusatzprodukte

    Über die Funktion "Zusatzprodukte" lassen sich Produktabhängigkeiten konfigurieren und beim Einfügen des Produkts abfragen. Mögliche Anwendungsfälle sind z.B. ein Installationsaufwand zu einem Generator oder ein Support-Paket, das passend zum Produkt ausgewählt werden kann.

    Grundsätzliche Funktionen

    Im Kopfbereich des Produktdialogs stehen die folgenden Grundfunktionen zur Verfügung

    In der blauen Kopfleiste ist zur besseren Übersicht  immer das Kalkulationsergebnis ablesbar, z.B. Menge, Rabatt, Listenpreis, Summe der Produkteigenschaften mit Berechnung, Gesamtsumme.

    Produkte werden im Angebotsdokument entweder in den Bereich Ihrer Produktgruppe, sofern vorhanden, eingefügt oder automatisch nach dem letzten im Angebot platzierten Produkt. Sollte noch kein Produkt vorhanden sein, so wird das neue Produkt vor der ersten Zwischensumme eingefügt.

    Hinweis: Das Feature "Produkte aus Opportunity kopieren" ist in quote lightning derzeit noch nicht verfügbar (Stand Februar

    Product search

    The product search via the inner vertical toolbar on the left side of the screen allows a quick search as well as a direct insertion of the selected product:

    The top search window offers a filter option of the available products by product groups. The list of available product groups is scrollable and can be searched with full text search.

    Note: At this point, only the product groups created globally in Salesforce can be selected for which products are also contained in the current price book, not those configured specifically in the quote. For more information, see "Product groups".

    If no product groups are available as product filters, the product family is used for filtering.

    In appero quote Lightning, the product family from the Salesforce standard is only a fallback for the product group filter. This means that if product groups exist and are allowed to be used as filters, only product groups are available as filters in the quote editor. Only if there are no product groups but product families, then the product family is used as a filter.




    Product dialog

    The dialog when inserting a product is divided into three areas

    • Product features
    • Additional products


    Details

    In the Details tab, calculatory and content-related information on the product is requested.

    Calculation area

    In the Calculation area, the columns available for calculation - e.g. quantity, list price, term, discount - are displayed and can be customized for the quote.
    The color scheme of the fields illustrates two editing options:

    At this point, an extended product description can be entered, with the restriction that these then only apply to the respective quote.

    For more information on the rich text editor, see "quote lightning - text formatting".

    It is recommended to store the description of products right when creating the records in Salesforce. To do this, call up the "Products" tab and select an existing product or create a new one. In the product record, you can enter the product description in the field of the same name.





    Product features

    The "Product features" tab is displayed if further features are assigned to the product that need to be specified. Product properties can influence the total price, e.g. an installation surcharge of 20% of the list price, or have a purely informative function, e.g. querying the installation date.

    Additional products

    Product dependencies can be configured via the "Additional products" function and queried when the product is inserted. Possible use cases are, for example, an installation effort for a generator or a support package that can be selected to match the product.

    Basic functions

    In the header area of the product dialog, the following basic functions are available

    		CancelCloses the product dialog without saving, the changes will not be applied, the product will not be included in the quote.
    Afterwards, the focus is set back to the product search in order to insert further products, if necessary.

    Saves the information entered and adds the product to the quote.

    		The blue header bar always shows the calculation result for a better overview, e.g. quantity, discount, list price, sum of product properties with calculation, total sum.


    Info

    Products are inserted in the quote document either in the area of your product group, if any, or automatically after the last product placed in the quote. If there is no product yet, the new product will be inserted before the first subtotal.


    Note: The "Copy products from opportunity" feature is currently not yet available in quote lightning (as of February 2019).
