Access appero quote auf der Salesforce AppExchange and start the installation process by clicking the "Get It Now" button. Log in with your Salesforce credentials and choose between the two variants "Install in Production" and "Install in Sandbox".
The Salesforce Sandbox is a development environment in which you can test applications, configuration or developments without risk.
Installation steps
Click "Install in Production" and then "Confirm and Install" to install appero quote in your Salesforce production environment. The following dialog shows some general information of the application to be installed:

Version
Publisher
Here you have an overview of all objects, tabs and fields that are delivered to Salesforce with the so-called Managed Package. Click on "Continue" to continue.
Followed by three installation steps.
1. Confirm API package access
Here you can define user rights for the objects of appero quote:
read
create
edit/delete
Once you have specified the settings, click "Next".
2. Select security level
You decide about the access to appero quote:
Administrators only: This option allows access only to Salesforce users with "Administrator" profile.
All Salesforce users: With this option, all profiles automatically gain access to the custom Salesforce objects, record types, tabs, and all appero quote fields included in the Managed Package. In this way, a distinction between admin and standard users can no longer be made in appero quote Lightning.
Individual security settings: This option allows you to make individual settings for individual Salesforce user profiles.
We recommend the installation from version 20.100 at first only for administrators, in order to assign the different permission sets afterwards.
If the update is installed immediately for all users, the object access rights are written directly to the user profiles and can then only be corrected again with great effort.
3. Install package in Salesforce
Click on "Install" to confirm the installation of appero quote. After a short time you will receive a confirmation with the installation details.
After installation, please clear the browser cache or log in again. Otherwise misleading error messages may occur.
