With the help of the quote item "ImagesImage", images can easily be placed in the quote. Experience has shown that there are numerous use cases for this:

• Illustrations or photos of products

• Logos of partners

• Visualization of processes or diagrams

• Photos of employees

• Awards and certificates

Über die innere vertikale Toolbar steht Ihnen das Angebotselement Grafik zur Verfügung. Sie können es über das Plus-Zeichen auswählen und mithilfe der Positionierungsleiste an beliebiger Stelle im Angebot platzieren:

Über die Funktion "Dateien hochladen" können Sie Bilder aus einem Speicherort außerhalb von Salesforce hochladen.
Maximal drei Bilder haben hier Platz. Sollten Sie mehr als das hochladen, werden nur die ersten drei verarbeitet.

Sofern Sie mehrere Bilder hochladen, sollten diese möglichst dieselbe Größe haben, um eine saubere Darstellung im Angebotsdokument zu gewährleisten.

Die Grafik als File an der Opportunity

Mit Übernahme der Grafik wird das Bildelement automatisch als File an der Opportunity gespeichert. Sie finden die Datei hier in der Themenliste "Notizen & Anhänge".

Sie können die im Angebot hochgeladenen Grafiken auch über die Files an der Opportunity aktualisieren. Dazu laden Sie einfach eine neue Version ihrer Datei an der Themenliste "Notizen & Anhänge" hoch. Beim Bearbeiten des Angebots wird nun die aktualisierte Version Ihrer Bild-Datei im Editor angezeigt:

Bearbeiten von Grafiken

Im Detail-Dialog des Grafik-Elements können Sie die Darstellung Ihrer Datei anpassen.

Größe, Abstand und Ausrichtung lassen sich intuitiv über die Schieberegler einstellen. Mit Klick auf "Speichern" werden die Änderungen ins Dokument übernommen.

Grafiken in Angebotsvorlagen

Um optisch ansprechende Angebote zu erhalten, liegt es nahe, Grafiken bereits in die Angebotsvorlage einzubinden.

In Templates können Grafiken allerdings nicht als Upload, sondern via URL eingebunden werden. Unterstützt werden die Formate

• Files

• Dokumente

• externe URLs

Fügen Sie Ihrer Vorlage ein Grafik-Element hinzu und hinterlegen Sie hier bis zu 3 Image-URLs. Die Anpassung von Größe und Abstand erfolgt analog zum normalen Bildmodus.

Nach dem Speichern wird die Grafik in jedem aus der Vorlage erstellten Angebot eingebunden.

The Image-Item in the quote editor

The quote item Image is available via the inner vertical toolbar. You can select it using the plus sign and place it anywhere in the quote using the positioning bar:

Image items follow the same logic as the other quote items:

Image Added	The badge on the right editor indicates the type of the quote item.
Image Added	Clicking on the image item will display the gear icon as an access to the edit mode.

Clicking on the gear icon opens the edit mode and you can upload the desired images:

Function	Explanation
Image Added	The "Upload files" function allows you to upload images from a location outside of Salesforce. A maximum of three images have space here. If you upload more than that, only the first three will be processed. If you upload more than one image, they should be the same size if possible to ensure a clean display in the quote document.

The image as a file at the Opportunity

When the image is accepted, the image element is automatically saved as a file on the opportunity. You will find the file here in the related lists "Notes & Attachments".

You can also update the images uploaded in the quote via the files at the opportunity. To do this, simply upload a new version of your file at the related lists "Notes & Attachments". When editing the quote, the updated version of your image file will now be displayed in the editor:

Editing images

In the details dialog of the image item you can adjust the appearance of your file.

Size, spacing and alignment can be intuitively adjusted using the sliders. Click on "Save" to apply the changes to the document.

Image Added	Size specification in %. Please check the display in the PDF preview.
Image Added	The Padding slider refers to the positioning of multiple images next to each other in a graphic element.
Image Added	Specify whether the image element is centered, left-aligned, or right-aligned in the PDF.

Images in quote templates

In order to obtain visually appealing quotes, it is obvious to include images already in the quote template.

In templates, however, images cannot be integrated as an upload, but via URL. The following formats are supported

• Files

• Documents

• external URLs

Add a graphic item to your template and store up to 3 image URLs here. The adjustment of size and spacing is analogous to the normal image mode.

After saving, the image will be included in each quote created from the template.
