General

Illustrations or photos of products
Logos of partners
Visualization of processes or diagrams
Photos of employees
Awards and certificates
The Image-Item in the quote editor
The quote item Graphic Image is available via the inner vertical toolbar. You can select it using the plus sign and place it anywhere in the quote using the positioning bar:

Image Removed Image Added | The "Upload files" function allows you to upload images from a location outside of Salesforce. If you upload more than one image, they should be the same size if possible to ensure a clean display in the quote document. |
Image RemovedImage Added | Alternatively, you can drag and drop the desired images. |
Note |
---|
Please note that you can only upload one image per item. I.e. if you want to display several images next to each other, please upload them at once. Otherwise the already inserted images will be replaced by the subsequently selected image. |
The image as a file at the Opportunity
When the image is accepted, the image element is automatically saved as a file on the opportunity. You will find the file here in the related lists "Notes & Attachments".
Image RemovedImage AddedYou can also update the images uploaded in the quote via the files at the opportunity. To do this, simply upload a new version of your file at the related lists "Notes & Attachments". When editing the quote, the updated version of your image file will now be displayed in the editor:

Browser noteFor correct display of your image items in Firefox, it may be necessary to disable the "Content blocking" setting in the browser. Otherwise, we recommend using Google Chrome. |
Images in quote templates
In order to obtain visually appealing quotes, it is obvious to include images already in the quote template.
In templates, however, images cannot be integrated as an upload, but via URL. The following formats are supported
Files
Documents
external URLs
Note |
---|
The visibility of files or documents in the template to your users depends on the sharing settings for those files in your Salesforce instance. |
Add a graphic item to your template and store up to 3 image URLs here. The adjustment of size and spacing is analogous to the normal image mode.
Image RemovedImage AddedAfter saving, the image will be included in each quote created from the template.
Note |
---|
If you use external URLs, please configure the corresponding remote site setting so that the image can be read. Also, please make sure that the default users also have the necessary permissions for the images. |
