Introduction
Der The Brick - Editor in appero quote bietet Ihnen die Möglichkeit, Bricks auch außerhalb des Angebotsprozesses zu bearbeiten.
Sofern der Brick noch nicht im Angebot erstellt wurde und als Datensatz vorliegt, können Sie auch über die Schaltfläche “Neu” an der Themenliste der Bricks zunächst einen leeren Datensatz erstellen.
Mit der Anlage eines Brick-Records vergeben Sie Namen und ggf. Preisbuch, Gebietsschema sowie Währung eines Bricks. Außerdem können Sie entscheiden, ob der Brick zunächst deaktiviert bleiben soll. Nur aktive Bricks sind im Angebotsprozess verfügbar.
Ein solcher neu angelegter Brick-Datensatz hat noch keine Bestandteile. Sie können diese erst im Brick-Editor hinzufügen und bearbeiten. Klicken Sie dazu auf die gleichnamige Schaltfläche auf der Datensatzseite.
Aufbau des Brick-Editors
Der Brick-Editor bietet eine reduzierte Benutzeroberfläche mit allen wesentlichen Informationen und Funktionen zur Bearbeitung eines Bricks:
Kopfzeile
Die Kopfzeile hat neben der “Speichern & Verlassen”-Funktion rein informativen Charakter:

Spaltenlayout
Über das Zahnrad-Symbol haben Sie die Möglichkeit, ein passendes Spaltenlayout auszuwählen.
Im Unterschied zum normalen Spaltenmenü können Sie die Spalten nicht frei konfigurieren, sondern können ein bestehendes Spaltenlayout aus Ihren Vorlagen auswählen. Alternativ können Sie die Default-Einstellung aus dem Setup auswählen:

Bitte beachten Sie, dass, wenn Ihre Bricks Spaltenüberschriften enthalten, diese zur Konfiguration des Angebots passen müssen, in das Sie den Brick anschließend einfügen. Ansonsten kann es passieren, dass Spalten im Angebot falsch gemappt werden. |
Sofern Ihr Brick keinen Bezug zu einem Spaltenlayout hat, z.B. weil er nur aus Texten und Bildern besteht, müssen Sie das Spaltenlayout natürlich nicht eigens konfigurieren.
Angebotselemente
Über die seitliche vertikale Toolbar können alle Elemente außer Produkte und Summenrabatte ausgewählt werden.

Sofern Ihrem Brick-Datensatz ein Preisbuch zugewiesen ist, ist das Plus-Icon für die Produktsuche sichtbar.
Liste der verfügbaren Angebotselemente, die zur Auswahl stehen.
Summenrabatte stehen in Version 21.100 noch nicht zur Verfügung.
Vorhandene Bricks können ebenfalls als Angebotselemente eingefügt werden.
Speichern.
Die Elemente selbst lassen sich im Editor ganz normal bearbeiten. Auch Bilder können direkt im Brick hochgeladen werden und stehen anschließend allen Nutzern zur Verfügung:
Produkte
Sofern Ihrem Brick-Datensatz ein Preisbuch zugewiesen ist, können Sie über die bekannte Produktsuche auch Produkte hinzufügen:
Die Kalkulation der Produkte im Brick-Editor und bei Verwendung des Bricks im Angebot verhält sich gleich zur Kalkulation von Produkten in Templates.

Wird ein Brick mit Produkten im Angebotseditor erstellt, so ist diesem automatisch das Preisbuch des Angebots zugewiesen. Beachten Sie bitte, dass auch zur Verwendung von Summenrabatten/Preisnachlässen im Brick-Editor ein Preisbuch zugewiesen sein muss. |

Angebotsvorlagen mit Produkten offers you the possibility to edit Bricks outside the quoting process. If the brick has not yet been created in the quote and is available as a data record, you can also create an empty data record first by clicking the "New" button on the related lists of bricks. With the creation of a Brick record you assign name and if necessary price book, locale as well as currency of a Brick. You can also decide whether the brick should remain deactivated for the time being. Only active bricks are available in the quoting process.
Such a newly created Brick dataset does not have any components yet. You can only add and edit them in the Brick Editor. To do so, click the button of the same name on the dataset page.
Structure of the Brick Editor
The Brick Editor provides a reduced user interface with all essential information and functions for editing a Brick:
Header
In addition to the "Save & Quit" function, the header has a purely informative character:

Column layout
Via the gear icon you have the possibility to select a suitable column layout.
In contrast to the normal column menu you cannot configure the columns freely, but you can select an existing column layout from your templates. Alternatively, you can select the default setting from the setup:

Please note that if your Bricks contain column headers, they have to match the configuration of the quote you will insert the Brick into afterwards. Otherwise, columns may be mapped incorrectly in the quote. |
If your Brick has no relation to a column layout, e.g. because it consists only of texts and images, you don't have to configure the column layout separately, of course.
Quote items
All items except Products and Sum Discounts can be selected using the vertical toolbar on the side.

Provided that a price book is assigned to your Brick record, you can also add products using the familiar product search:
The calculation of products in the Brick Editor and when using the Brick in the quote behaves the same as the calculation of products in templates.
