Allgemein
Mit Hilfe von Bausteinen (Bricks) lassen sich Inhalte, die nicht in der Angebotsvorlage fixiert werden sollen, schnell ergänzen und flexibel miteinander kombinieren. Sie dienen auch dazu, wiederkehrende Strukturen mühelos und ohne das Risiko von inhaltlichen Fehlern im Angebot abzubilden.
Folgende Anwendungsfälle treten erfahrungsgemäß besonders häufig auf:
- Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen
- Reisekostenvereinbarungen
- Angebotskonditionen
- Unternehmens- oder Mitarbeiterportraits
- Ausführliche Produktbeschreibungen
- Produktkombinationen
Bausteine können beliebig viele Angebotselemente enthalten und über den Menüpunkt Bricks in der inneren vertikalen Toolbar bequem im Dokument platziert werden:
Bestandteile
Bausteine können zahlreiche verschiedene Angebotselemente umfassen, z.B. Textbereiche, Produkte, Summen oder Grafiken. Sie erhöhen die Flexibilität des Anwenders und verringern den Zeitaufwand für die Bearbeitung des Angebots, vor allem in Kombination mit Angebotsvorlagen. Ausnahmslos jedes Angebotselement kann Teil eines Bausteins sein.

Bricks werden immer global angelegt, d.h. sie stehen jedem Anwender in jedem Angebot zur Verfügung. Einzige Ausnahme: Bricks können mithilfe der Auswahlliste apperoLanguageLocale auf eine bestimmte Sprache festgelegt sein. Dann bestimmt das an der Opportunity gewählte Gebietsschema über die Auswahlmöglichkeit im Editor. |
Konfiguration im Editor
Um einen Baustein im Editor anzulegen, müssen die gewünschten Angebotselemente im Editor mit Hilfe der vorangestellten Checkboxen markiert werden. Anschließend wird über die blaue Toolbar am linken Rand die unterste Option "Neuen Brick mit ausgewählten Positionen erstellen" ausgewählt:
Es öffnet sich das Fenster zur Anlage eines neuen Bricks:

Sie können die Spracheinstellungen eines Bricks außerhalb des Editors am zugehörigen Datensatz nachträglich ändern.

In appero quote Classic wurden Bricks im Objekt Setup-Texte sf42_quotefx__SF42_QuoteSetup__c als Parameter gespeichert. In appero quote Lightning gibt es das neue Objekt Bricks sf42_quotefx__SF42_Brick__c. Bricks werden hierin als das gespeichert, was sie ursprünglich sind, als Kombination von Angebotspositionen, und können dadurch auch außerhalb des Editors komfortabler bearbeitet werden. |
Das Objekt Bricks
Mit dem Speichern des Bricks im Editor wird zeitgleich ein Datensatz am Custom Object "Bricks" erstellt.
Hier können Sie den Namen des Bricks ändern, ein Gebietsschema vergeben, den Brick inaktiv setzen oder löschen. Nur aktive Bricks sind im Angebotsprozess verfügbar.

Bitte beachten Sie, dass, wenn Ihre Bricks Spaltenüberschriften enthalten, diese zur Konfiguration des Angebots passen müssen, in das Sie den Brick anschließend einfügen. Ansonsten kann es passieren, dass Spalten im Angebot falsch gemappt werden. |
Konvertieren von Bricks aus appero quote Classic
Beim Wechseln von appero quote Classic auf die neue Lightning Version müssen Sie einmalig Ihre vorhanden Bricks in das neue Format umwandeln.
Dazu gehen Sie am Objekt Bricks auf die Themenliste "Alle Bricks" und finden rechts oben die Quick-Action "Classic Bricks konvertieren":
Beim erneuten Ausführen der Quick-Action erhalten Sie den Status "Es wurden keine Bricks zum Konvertieren gefunden."

General
With the help of bricks, content that is not to be fixed in the quote template can be quickly added and flexibly combined with each other. They are also used to map recurring structures effortlessly and without the risk of content errors in the quote.
Experience has shown that the following use cases occur particularly frequently:

Bricks can contain any number of quote items and can be conveniently placed in the document using the menu item Bricks in the inner vertical toolbar:
Components
Bricks can include numerous different quote items, e.g. text areas, products, sums or graphics. They increase the user's flexibility and reduce the time needed to edit the quote, especially in combination with quote templates. Without exception, any quote item can be part of a brick.

Bricks are always created globally, i.e. they are available to every user in every quote. The only exception: bricks can be set to a specific language using the apperoLanguageLocale picklist. Then the locale selected at the opportunity determines the selection option in the editor. |
Configuration in the editor
To create a brick in the editor, the desired quote items must be selected in the editor using the checkboxes in front. Subsequently, the blue toolbar on the left edge is used to select the lowest option "Create a new brick with selected items":

The following editing options are available:

 | In this field you enter a name for the new Brick. |
 | The language depends on the settings of the Opportunity. If it is set to a certain locale, the Brick will be specified to it as well. Otherwise the entry is "None". You can change the language settings of a Brick outside of the Editor on the associated record afterwards. |
 | Under "Search Brick" you will find a list of all already existing Bricks. You can select them here and overwrite them with the new configuration here. |
 | In the preview you can once again see the selected items of the Brick as they appear in the editor. |
 | Click on "Save" to save the Brick as a new record. |
 | If you select an existing Brick from the list or enter an already assigned name, the label changes from "New" to "Overwrite", i.e. you now change an existing Brick. |
 | The "Cancel" function exits the menu without saving. |
The object “Bricks”
When you save the Brick in the Editor, a record is simultaneously created at the "Bricks" custom object.
Here you can change the name of the Brick, assign a locale, set the Brick inactive or delete it. Only active Bricks are available in the quoting process.
The actual components of the Brick can be found in the "Related" tab under the BrickLineItems related lists:

Please note that if your Bricks contain column headers, they have to match the configuration of the quote you will insert the Brick into afterwards. Otherwise, columns may be mapped incorrectly in the quote. |
